What this inquiry pathway is for
This pathway allows current candidates, prospective candidates, officeholders, and their representatives to ask questions or make contact while the Human Party develops its policy, governance, and organizational framework. It is an inquiry channel only.
What submission does not mean
Submitting an inquiry, receiving an acknowledgment, or receiving a later response does not constitute nomination, endorsement, support, affiliation, authorization, recognition as a Human Party candidate, permission to use the Human Party name, seal, logo, or identity, campaign coordination, campaign funding, campaign services, ballot access, or any other formal relationship.
What not to submit
Do not submit campaign strategy, nonpublic polling, voter data, donor or fundraising information, advertising plans, opposition research, internal campaign documents, contributions, earmarked funds, or other confidential or nonpublic campaign information. Do not use this pathway to request or transmit campaign funds or services.
Information handling
We request only the information reasonably necessary to understand and respond to the inquiry. Information is not collected for a mailing, supporter, voter, fundraising, marketing, or general contact list. Personal information is retained only while reasonably necessary for the interaction and is deleted when it is no longer necessary and reasonably and technically possible. If additional information becomes necessary, we will ask for it then.
Federal, state, and local requirements
Candidate status, political-party status, ballot access, campaign finance, communications, coordination, and related requirements can depend on the office and jurisdiction. No representation about candidacy, ballot status, endorsement, nomination, affiliation, campaign support, or use of the Human Party identity is made until the applicable requirements have been determined.
Official federal information
The Federal Election Commission publishes guidance on registering political parties, testing the waters for possible candidacy, and coordinated communications. Federal guidance does not replace applicable state or local election law.
Future candidate activity
If the Human Party later establishes a formal process for nomination, endorsement, candidate support, ballot access, fundraising, coordinated activity, or other electoral functions, that process will be established separately and reviewed under the laws and regulations applicable at that time. This inquiry form does not create that process.
